Tukwila Community Concert

Cellist Seth Parker Woods joins the Seattle Symphony and Associate Conductor Pablo Rus Broseta in a program full of beauty and drama. Experience Mahler’s love song to his wife in the Adagietto from his Fifth Symphony, Ravel’s interpretation of the Jewish mourning song Kaddish, and the remarkable exploration into new colors and expressivity in British composer Rebecca Saunders’ Ire.

Fall-ing for the Woodwinds

Let’s practice saying hello! Hosted by a board certified music therapist, your family will love learning about the woodwind family in an environment that is designed specifically for children on the Autism spectrum and with sensory sensitivities. The concert experience includes instrument exploration before and after the show, a meet-and-greet with the featured musicians and a 35-minute performance.
