Seattle Chamber Music Society's 2018 Summer Festival (July 2-28) features over 300 years of musical history, with music by Bach to a world premiere by famed film composer James Newton Howard. It also features everything in-between with works by Mozart, Schumann, Rachmaninov, Debussy, Shostakovich, and a deeper focus on the works of Beethoven and Brahms with one of the two composers featured on ten of the tweleve concerts this summer. The music is played by 44 of the finest musicians from around the world including principals with major orchestras from around the world, top prize winners from prestigious competitions, and leading chamber musicians.
There will be a free concert starting at 7pm for each evening concert.
